I'm going to be honest here. Yes, I am A bit of a fan boy. I have an Asus MB and an Asus GTX 580 as well as a few Asus bits and parts in the past. But, the 1 thing im not sure on, is their monitors. I've been looking at an Asus monitor for gaming mainly on. Ticks all the boxes. 5ms response time, 1080p full HD, HDMI input etc etc but I can't find ANY reviews on it and have never really heard much about their monitors. I hear Samsung are good but there's always "something" missing from each one that I'd prefer to have as a feature. Anyone able to give some info from first hand experience with Asus monitors before or something?

ASUS make some nice monitors, but as with all big monitor brands it's very much to do with the particular monitor model you are looking at.
For example this £180 23in E-IPS panel monitor is very nice and great value. Here is an in-depth review. However this only shows how good this particular model is, other ASUS monitor models using VA or TN panels may not be nearly as good
