Does anyone know how to stop Asus motherboards installing software in Windows System 32. It seems the BIOS is doing this, and no matter what you do, it won't stop. Does anyone know of a BIOS setting to stop it?

I would turn off Armory crate in the BIOS:

Its off and uninstalled, but the BIOS keeps installing AsusUpdate. If I disable it in task schedular, it re-enables it.

Oh, I found it.
Sorry, yes, I misread your post and thought you meant to uninstall it, but then read it again and found the setting.
Now I have to remember that, to disable it immediately in future.

Which board is it? It normally lets you choose yes or no on the z790 and am5 boards I used.

Three boards, and, yes, they do allow it to be disabled.

Oh this is totally new to me. I'm going for an Asus X870 at the end of the month.I need to disable armoury crate in the BIOS and is Asus Update a BIOS setting as well?

You can disable it all in one setting in the BIOS. In Tools, Armoury Crate. Just set it to disabled.

It's a lot easier to do that before it first boots up than removing it afterwards.
