Asus MX279H

I quite like the screen. I had to do a fair bit of fiddling to get the colours right though.

The colours are really nice and the blacks are BLACK.


Also, no idea if you lot with an ASUS use this trace free technology but i put it to 0 as it seems to **** the frames per second up or something. It seems fluid and seemless with trace free at 0 but with it's put up, it feels like the FPS drops in movies and games which seems to be the opposite to what it's supposed to do?
 
I've just bought one of these and I'll be damned if I can get the black black. It's almost grey ! The other thing is I can't seem to get the driver installed for it. Comes back with: Windows found drivers software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it :/

Apart from this it looks nice, no ghosting in games but it's a downgrade in resolution for me. Trying to get use to it at present.

*Edit: What cables are you guys using to connect it to your PC ? I'm using the provided HDMI-to-DVI cable but I'm wondering if it would be worth going HDMI to HDMI ?
