Just thought I would post this, especially with all the rumours of Asus boards and OCZ memory not really working well together.
Firstly, I've had for a while 4x2GB OCZ DDR2-6400 Vista Gold memory in my Asus Maximus formula board (flashed with Rampage BIOS), and its run 8GB at 1Ghz on the memory no problem!
However, at the weekend I was fortunate enough to try a lower end Asus - the P5N73-AM board, based upon the Nvidia 610i/7050 combination, and again with 2x2GB OCZ DDR2-6400 Vista Gold I've had no issues with memory from first post.
At the price its at, this memory kit is truly hard to beat in the DDR2 arena, no matter the board your using
