Asus P35 to P45 - works a treat and no Vista re-install

Just to let you know. Successfully upgraded from an Asus P5K-E to P5Q-Deluxe. Did a simple motherboard swap. Reconnected all devices (HDs, Graphics card and USB devices) and switched on. No need to reinstall Vista x64. And it recognised all the device driver changes.

Have the OEM version of Windows - so needed to reactivate. But no bluescreen or silly behaviour.

Yeah Vista has the drivers built-in.

But, go to here and download the latest Intel drivers. They're updated for P45.
