Hiya,

Just got one of the OcUK bundles... this one, in fact:

Intel Core 2 DUO LGA775 E6600 2.40GHz Retail / Asus P5B / 2GB GeIL PC2-6400C4 DDR2 Dual Channel Kit - Bundle (BU-037-OK)

Everything installed ok, and everything seems to be running fine. However, on boot the BIOS returns the error:

"Intel CPU uCode loading error"

The system sits there and idles ok, so it's not a huge error, but I guess I need to update the BIOS from what other similar threads have said.

I've checked everything else, all is seated correctly, etc.

Anyway, is this ok to update the BIOS under the OcUK terms, as it's brand new kit that was supposedly "guaranteed 100% compatible"... but obviously isn't quite 100%.

Yes no problem to update the bios, your not going to void the warranty. You can use the Asus software supplied.
