I have updated the bios ,and it won,t boot up ,and when it does boot up it freezes up ! before i updated the bios ,everytime i plug my set of headphones into the sound card ,a X-FI Music type ,it would either freeze up or reboot ! god this is sooooooo weird ,any ideas whats going on ? or recommend another motherboar  d please ..

i had the same prob mate - make sure your x-fi is in the bottom pci slot then go into your bios and change the pci latency timer to 64 - this is in advanced -pcipnp, worked for me. if you need i can post pics of my bios settings

try and boot without your x-fi in
