Anyone know what is going on here?, windows and sandra report 3.6ghz but cpu-z says 3.2?!, I think it is 3.2 because in the bios it is set to 400 / 8 = 3200.

Anyone else had this?, I'm using the newest bios.

Windows reports the speed as if the board was set at its native multiplier (9 in the E6600's case). As you're only running an 8 multi, it's getting confused.

CPU-Z is correct - you're running at 3.2GHz (8x400)

Correct :D

You could trick some people into thinking you have some pretty mad overclocks with that..... :D

*sets the fsb on his P5B really really high with a really low multi*
