ASUS P5E Voltsge options after flash !

So flashed the bios of my P5E and now the min Cpu voltage option is 2.6v !
SO far i've left this on auto as there is no way i'm going to try and put that through it as a min !

Anyone have any odea as to whats going on ?

Bios is 405 btw,

the bios is uber crap. thats whats going on. 405 bios made my p5e useless, it wont post

Right managed to sort the issue, there is problems with this Bios according to the Asus Support forum.
Why it hasn't been pulled off the site, well yeah good one Asus ! :eek:

You can't reflash an old bios either, unless you can get hold of Asus update 6.10.2 or something like that, in the options setting you can enable installation of old bios. I then flashed 402 and its all ok now.

It enables a few more options in the bios, as yet i've no idea what they do ! not really many OC guides for this board out there yet.

Have a read here . I learnt a lot from that thread, including not to go past the 402 bios. There is also the Vdroop voltage pencil mod in there as well.
