Asus P5K - Audio problem? (HDA Bus Driver)

Everythings installed apart from the on-board sound. When I try and install it from the CD it error's and says its missing the "HDA Bus Driver"?

Any idea's?

Download the latest sound drivers. They have it built-in.

I had this in XP on my board, but in vista it was fine.

I had this too, from a fresh install of winxp home sp2 .. i went to windows update, got all the gump and then it installed with no problems.

i have the same motherboard as you too

Anyone know a fix is SP3 is already installed ?

Sorted after an hour of trawling posts.. Tried each PCI device that was not recognised and made it look at the HDAudBUS.sys file. Rebooted and the the SoundMax allowed me to install.
