asus p5k deluxe wifi run without cpu fan

can you run these boards without the fan connected to the cpu fan connector as I wont to run 2 120mm fans on my COOLERMASTER GEMINII CPU COOLER but the fans i have 4 pin connectors that go to your psu not the small type that go to the board , will it run witout fan connected or will it error as it thinks their is no cpu fan

It will run fine, you could always buy a couple of molex to 4 pin converters

yes , i have the same MB with a watercooled CPU and a fan controller so im not using the fan headers at all , auto shut-off seems to be linked to temps rather the fan speed so that's not a issue as well
