I have an Asus P5k-E and 4 sticks of Corsair XMS2 ram (CM2x2048-6400C5DHX to be exact). Bios is latest version.

Memtest results:

1) Any one stick in any one slot - FINE
2) Any two sticks in channel A - FINE
3) Any two sticks in channel B - FINE
4) All four sticks - memtest errors - always in the 4096+ memory area.

So my conclusions are that the memory is fine, it is just that the mobo won't run with 8GB in a stable manner.

System is not over-clocked in any way, all settings are at 'auto'. I am running 64bit vista (although of course if memtest fails then it is not the Os's fault) and process multiple huge images files so lots of ram really does speed up my daily work load.

Any ideas as to what I could change to get this to work ?

Cheers guys.
