I am building a new PC for a friend and have narrowed my choices down to these 2 boards.
I will be OC'ing a E4300.
Dont need raid, firewire or any fancy stuff but I do need onboard audio.
Going for 2GB ram, prob Geil stuff @ 800Mhz C4, to help the OC!
We have agreed SLI & Crossfire are not a good route either now or for the future!

So which do you guys think?

Right, I have gone for the IP35-E with a Tuniq 120 cooler and E4300 cpu, Geil PC2-6400C4 800Mhz.
All due for delivery Monday.
Will let you know my OC results and any quirks :)

Well, that all changed!
Ordered the IP35-E, 3 boards in stock, come to posting, no boards in stock!
So, when they phoned offered the P5K which put me a little over budget, but shame they did not offer the IP35 Pro and is the same range, slightly more stuff on it and is cheaper!!

Oh well, will let you know how I get on with the P5K!!!

Well, I got the system all built!
Must admit I am really pleased with how well it went togeather.

The board seems really good. I have not updated the bios mind, as I do not have a usb drive, but dont see this as a problem.

I managed to get it to boot at 425Mhz FSB with 1.5 vcore, but was not happy with the temps. That gave 3.4Ghz on the e4300.

I dropped the vcore to 1.45v and settled on 400Mhz FSB giving a healthy 3.2Ghz.
Load temps in speed fan are 50c, and idle 28c.
Orthos stress test blend for CPU and RAM 10 hours stable so that will do nicely!

Thanks for all the help guys.
