I have the above mb and atm am running a 8800gtx i have just seen that there 5850 preorder @ 107 quid.
First question is this card by its self be much of a diff than my 8800gtx?
Second Q is my motherboard is the asus p5k and has 2 pci e slots was thinking about buying 2 of these cards to crossfire them, will it work ok on this board my cpu is Q6600 slacr go or whatever its called running @ 3.2ghz.
My montior rez is 1440x900 but i do use my 3D tv thats 1080p ofc aswell.
 
One 5850 will be 1000 miles better, two would bottleneck you too much with that cpu. Get a second hand Q6600 & oc it.
