Asus P5N32 Compatible Ram?

if its the standard P5N32-E Sli motherboard and not the Plus model, then i know for definite that Ballistix PC5300 and PC6400 RAM are basically made for this board...

i was think of getting the plus model - does this benefit from any particular type of ram?

I see there are issues when using 4 gig of ram which again i was planning to do.

Why do people here rate the plus model poorly. One of my colleague got it over the non plus 680i model because the NB runs significantly cooler and was able to overclock his quad a lot higher then he could with the last 680i board he had. While his fsb that he could read was limited it was not as limited as the reference 680i's out there. At least 340-350 if I remember rightly. Is this board a turkey ?

It is supposed to offer all the advantages of the non plus 680i mobo but none of the raid issues and other assorted problems. It also has a better overclock with quads unless you are lucky enough to own a rev 2 evga. Again this is only 2nd hand knowledge and what 1 person has told me.
