Hi Lads (and the occasional lass)

Having problems with installing ram on my mobo. I keep getting BSOD's and freezes with 4gb installed (4x1gb of OCZ) yet with only 2gb my rig works like a charm (although I have been getting low memory warnings lately). I think it's to do with the voltage for the northbridge and the ram but as everything is set to auto I've got no idea what to set them to.

Any help is appreciated.

The ram might have a sticker on each module stating timmings and voltage or check the manufacturers website.
Northbridge voltage use hw monitor or Everest which should give the voltage then reboot and up the voltage by .1 or .2 volt.

I had the same problem on my P5N32-e sli board. RMA'd it a few weeks ago and the replacement doesnt work either. I'm using 4x1gb ballistix 8500.
I bought a gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P yesterday and the difference is shocking, not only is it stable but it runs my ram at full 1066mhz speed; the P5N limited it to 800mhz.
I'll be returning the Asus mobo for yet another RMA even though ive bought a new one, at £140 they can bloody well keep changing it until i get one that works.
*I checked the P5N-E32 sli forumns and tons of people had ram problems with it*
