Hi Guys

Just a quick question please

I have the following motherboard Asus P5N32-E SLI now it says in the spec
(** available when CPUs are ready for 1333MHz FSB)

Now my brother is looking to buy a E6660 - So I will sell him my CPU and I would like to know will the Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 "LGA775 Conroe" 3.00GHz (1333FSB) just drop into my Asus MB.

I know Asus state that the 1333FSB is supported but I would hate to buy a new CPU and then find it does not work. I'm using Bios revision 1203. Has anyone used a 1333FSB CPU into an ASUS P5N32-E SLI board ?

Many thanks for taking the time to reply

Yes the chip works, but, dont expect to overclock it as much as some other boards, the board i had just wouldnt go past 3.5 stable (390 fsb x9)
