I was all set to buy an Asus PQ5 Pro or the P5Q-E when I cam across some comments that these boards suffer with mouse freezing issues.

Has anyone here had this problem or am I barking up the wrong tree ? Also what are your experiences with thes boards and which is the best one (I'm looking at E8400, 4Gb Cosair DDR2, ATI 4870 - 1gb.. no sli required)

Any help would be appreciated as the more I read the more confused I get.

Thanks

Got a p5q deluxe in this setup and a p5q-e in my brothers, have had no problems what so ever. *touch wood*

Not any problems here either but 1 thing I will say is that it's nigh on impossible to get a good connection when using the single PS/2 port for keyboard/mouse as the port doesn't have much clearance around it. I ended up taking a knife to the connector on my keyboard to cut around 2-3mm of the plastic coating around the connector so that it securely plugged into the mobo. Never had this problem with other mobo using the same keyboard so it looks like a problem with the design of the connector on this mobo.
