Last night my windows 7 put my computer into sleep/hibernate. I Clicked to mouse to wake it so I could shut it down, but it just shut itself down when I did this, I thought it was odd and thought nothing of it and went to bed.
This morning i've discovered my computer won't boot. I get power through the motherboard all the fans start but nothing else happens and I get no post codes, no display it just appears to be sat there just spinning its fans and doing nothing else.
I have an Asus P5QL Pro P43, and an Intel core 2 duo E8400. Any idea what the problem might be i've tried it with a single ram stick (with each of my 4 ram sticks) and still nothing. Is the motherboard dead or is the CPU dead?
