ASUS P5W DH Deluxe and SATA connections?

I`ve got myself a ASUS P5W DH Deluxe motherboard and three SATA II hard drives and I know nothing or very little about SATA and RAID!

I have read a bit about RAID and at the moment i`m not interested in setting up a RAID configuration and this I understand reading the motherboard instructions can be turned off in the BIOS.

Can I connect three hard drives to the motherboards SATA1, SATA3 and SATA4 connections with no RAID configuration?

Second, i`m thinking of getting a SATA DVDR drive, or a fourth hard drive, my question is where do I connect it? On the motherboard it has three other SATA connectors, SATA_RAID1, EZ_RAID2, EZ_RAID1 can it be connected to one of these connections?

You can connect upto sata 1,3 and 4 with out using raid this is how i have set mine up (dont understand raid so dont use it).
