Hi,

I've just built my new system, based on the following core components:

Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail
2 x G.Skill F2-6400CL4D-2GBPK (i.e. 2 pairs of 2 x 1GB matched pairs - 4GB total)
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit Edition DVD - OEM
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI
2 x Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB 5000AAKS SATA-II 16MB Cache

Everything seems to have gone well but I seem to be experiencing some memory errors in Vista. When I load Resource Monitor, I am constantly getting "Hard Faults/sec" being clocked up by almost every applications I run.

I have configured my memory as shown in these images:

The errors have occurred when the memory was in a slower auto-detected configuration (i.e. PC-5300 instead of PC-6400) and no change after I had manually configured the memory timings (as above, courtesty of G.Skill themselves).

I have tried just 2 x 1GB matched modules at a time, in each pair of slots - with both pairs of modules, and always get similar memory errors as when I have all 4 modules installed.

I am currently running BIOS version 1901 on the motherboard.

I assume there should be no memory "Hard Faults" being shown in Vista's Resource Monitor, so can anyone suggest what I can try to resolve the issue? It's really got me stumped at the moment.

Thanks!
