Hi guys,

Just taken delivery of my parts and going to start putting it together tonight. Not sure if i'll have it done until the weekend. Got so much on....

In the meantime im wondering what OC you guys were getting from this board?

I'm gonna go for 3.8 ghz
BCLK 190 x 20
1.3 volts should do the trick and leave the rest on Auto.
and obviously disable speedstep.

That should give me a good clock below 80c. (Noctua NH U12P)

Thanks all

woahhh shouldnt need volts that high :) diable turbo if ya gunna set to 20 (i just leave it on 21 ;) ) try more like 1.2v to start, think mine was booting and priming at 1.192 but think it needs a little more. :) and at that my temps were under 70 so should be fine :D

EDIT: vcore error xP 1.192... not 1.92 xP

Thanks very much for the heads up regarding the voltage.

no worries, basically i put the voltage to 1.2 in the bios i think, dram 1.66, turbo on, 21x multi, and what ever bclk to match that, booted fine if i remember but think needs a bit more volts to be fully stable at that speed, not sure if it was vcore or if i need to up the qpi or what ever a little bit as it would run intel burn fine for 10 iterations on 1gb, but when i set it to max it would error.... so guessing its more the mobo volts rather than vcore.

think that sounds right, only started clocking this chip yesterday so it's all pretty new to me too :)

Hi all,

Just started ocing and when i load cpu z it keeps changing the multi. I have set it to 20 but for some reason it keeps jumping about like it's in auto mode?

Can anyone help please?
