Asus P8H67-M Evo Changes???

Hi

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the Asus P8H67-M Evo & the revision 3 version of this board please?

Probably the only thing to have changed is the faulty chip that affected the SATA ports

Thanks for the info Meatloaf. Can you explain further about this faulty chip please? I didn' realise there was a fault! is this not the best Asus H67 mobo to go for then?

Loads of info in here mate, its not just Asus boards it affects all P67 an H67 boards

Thanks a lot for this MeatLoaf, you've just saved me a lot of money!! I had no idea about the faulty chip until I saw a rev.3 version of the mobo I intended to buy & thought..hang on a min..what's the difference!! Thanks!!

So do I assume that the rev.3 version of the Asus P8H67-M Evo mobo (I have seen it available on a website) is with the fault rectified or not???

Yes the rev3 ASUS boards have the B3 stepping chipsets which should not develop a fault over time on the 4x SATA 3Gbps ports unlike the older B2 stepping based boards which may develop a fault over time.

Nobody has any B3 stepping boards in stock with a small qty expected to land sometime this week.
