Good Morning All,

Going through my files last night, I noticed my bios was VERY out of date. I proceeded to download the latest BIOS from Asus website for my MB
P8P67 Pro V3.1

Trying to use the in windows EZ Bios utility threw an error:
"Image Integrity Check Failed"

I then tried by booting into the BIOS and followed the BIOS update there with the file saved onto an internal HDD.
When selecting the file, the following error is displayed (From memory)
"ROM file is not EFI BIOS"

I tried with the file renamed (Using ASUS Bios Rename Tool)
Also had the BIOS on a memory stick formatted to FAT.

Still no luck.

Any recommendations?

Very odd - you sure you got the exact model correct when downloading the BIOS? I remember last time I update BIOS it causes me a few headaches. This was couple of years back now.

if it aint broke why fix it??

tried downloading the bios from another asus site? sometimes they get corrupted

Its possibly because there is another file and you are getting the wrong one. Damn asus website is rubbish. I had this EXACT problem when updating mine.

There is another file about. Look around a bit deeper.

That seems the most obvious route but I don't actually think that one was correct for me either. ill have a little look about if I get chance.
