Asus P8Z68 6gbs raid with 3 disks?

I noticed the above mobo has 2x Marvell 6gbs Sata ports and 2x intel 6gbs Sata ports. As far as I know this means two different raid configurators.

Would it be posdible to create a raid array using 3x 6gbs ports?

No.

If you're using HDD's you can use 3 of the 4 Intel SATA 3Gb/s ports.

There's no difference in performance with HDD's if you use SATA 3Gb/s or SATA 6Gb/s.

Mainly gaming, graphic design, watching movies etc.
I previously had two smaller 60gb SSD's (a few years old) and didn't want to run out of room like I did with these a few years down the line.
