Hello, first post on this site.

I'm currently using a P8Z68-v PRO with the standard intel CPU cooler. The memory modules I am using have high heat sinks. Can some suggest a couple of tower coolers that haven't got rear brackets attached to the back of the mobo and the will not get in the way of the memory on this board..

thanks.

There's the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 CPU Cooler which doesn't require a backplate.

Your memory may still be an issue depending on if you need to use the DIMM slots nearest your CPU (check your manual). If you can use the second bank then it's possible it may fit with the fan blowing air through the HS.

If not you could orientate the cooler so that the fan pulls air through the cooler and vents it out the back so it's nowhere near the DIMM slots.

I have a thermalright 120 ultra on my z68, and im not able to use the dimm slot closest to the heatsink, however the other 3 are fine, regardless of high the heatsinks would be
