Hi guys,

I recently bought a Krypton Z68 650i Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40Ghz Clocked @ 4.60Ghz from OCUK along with other components for a completely new build.

Putting it all together was fine, but upon first boot up i cant seem to get into my bios to enable to overclock profile that OCUK added as part of the bundle.

Now what happens is rather odd, the machine switches on; instead of loading up your usual post screen with option to enter bios all i get is a screen full of colour (imagine the test card picture on old tv's)
This appears for 2-3 seconds and then the screen goes blank, momments later windows loads...

Anyone got any tips i can try? Ideally i dont want to upgrade the bios as this would loose the overclocking profile!

Any comments/adivce is greatly appreicated!

Sorry i should have mentioned, hitting del, f1 or f2 doesnt seem to do anything.
infact the machine fails to boot if i repeatidly strike either of these keys, only to resume booting after doing a CTRL + ALT + DEL

Try I different keyboard.

With my motherboard the SideWinder X4 I use fails to get me into the BIOS most of the time.

Plug in an old basic keyboard and it works every time.

The keyboard is only a DELL OEM things thats as cheap and basic as they come tbh

As for the post beeps im unsure, ill update once i get back from work!

If it's an overclocked bundle isn't the overclock already enabled when it comes from OcUK?

Have you checked by running CPU-Z whilst stressing the processor?

Thanks for you help guys, got it sorted in the end!

Turns out it was the Monitor i was using, as i swapped it over and the bios now displays!
i was right with the overclocking, it was a preset profile; its now enabled and running like a dream!

Thanks guys!
