ASUS P8Z77 BIOS - XMP memory profile affects Turbo Ratio setting?

I just want to check something regarding a BIOS setting. I'm not attempting any overclocking, I'm trying to get the defaults for my system correct.
I built a new system (Asus P8Z77-V LE PLUS, i5 3570k, Corsair Vengeance memory) last week and it's all running fine but tonight I noticed that the memory was clocked at 1333 when it should have been 1600.

The BIOS section of the motherboard manual says to enable the XMP profile so I have. Doing so changed the Turbo Ratio setting from Auto to Manual and made some new settings appear.

The new settings are:
Ratio Synchronizing Control - Enabled
1-Core Ratio Limit - Auto
2-Core Ratio Limit - Auto (Greyed out because of the RSC setting)
3-Core Ratio Limit - Auto (Greyed out because of the RSC setting)
4-Core Ratio Limit - Auto (Greyed out because of the RSC setting)

Reading the way the menu and the manual is worded makes me think that the five extra settings amount to exactly the same as when Turbo Ratio was set to Auto, is this correct? If so why did enabling the XMP profile change the Turbo Ratio setting to manual?

It also makes the BCLK Frequency setting appear with a setting of 100 - do I need to do anything to this?

you can use the timings provided on the box then set the bclk have a look on you tube TTL has done a very nice OC video which shows you how to set them all manually, even if your not OC ing it hard sets your defaults. Have you enabled XMP and choose 1600mhz if you dont want to do it manually?
