asus P8Z77V LX problem

so ive got a problem with my pc, for some reason it wont detect my drives. dvd-rw and bluray both sata, just brought a new psu 1200W. tried lots of different cables variations, the dvdrw wont detect in the bios and seems like its not got power. the bluray detects, has power light on. but wont eject, would love any kind of feedback here.

be sure to flash to the latest bios aswell,should be the first thing you do,then move on to other things to test

faulty dvd drive? should work fine imo

any jumpers at the back of the drive? master/slave position?

nah nothing just normal sata power and data connections, its weird the dvd-rw was working fine. until I installed the fan controller, and the other drive is brand new

try installing latest intel storage drivers,they contain latest sata port drivers,might get the drive working

they will be on asus website and intels

Its mostly this. Makes sure youve installed the important drivers for the board.

ive just double checked and downloaded all the newest drivers but still no luck
