I'm looking at 2560 monitors again for my Macbook Pro. I bought a Dell U2711 last year and after going through 2 in 2 weeks i returned and gave up because they both had the same fault. There was annoying flicker on the left half of the panel when i connected through MDP to DP.
Now, i've seen Asus have released their version of a 2560, newer technologies, nicer AG coating, not to mention CHEAPER!
I would just like to know what people think to connecting this monitor up to a late 2011 Macbook Pro 15" via MDP to DP; any reasons this would cause an issue?
