I've got the new EVGA 980 Ti SC ACX on order from overclockers and just bought a Asus PB287Q 4k monitor.

From the reviews I've read, I should be expecting late 30's to 50's fps in games.

Have anyone any experience with a similar set up?

Will this card and monitor work well together of will I be better buying a 1440p monitor?

Hello,

I have an intel I7 build, and I use the 980ti fully watercooled. I have the monitor connected using displayport (to benefit from full 4k) and set to 1.2. for 60hz I find the picture quality very sharp. Gaming wise, I have not had any issues and I get 100fps or more on all games so far, These include, batman Arkham knight, wow, project cars and call of duty. Personally I don't think your be disappointed with the monitor.
