I guess this is the right place to ask this question...

In ASUS PC Probe 2 I keep getting a warning message about my Vcore Voltage when it's around 1.10v, but it's fine at 1.38v (Threshold is on 10% if that means anything to anyone). Anyone know if this is a problem and what's causing it? Would it have anything to do with AMD cool'n'quiet being enabled? Or is everything okay and I'm just being paranoid?

I have a 600W PSU incase you need to know...Thanks in advance for any help :)

I'm pretty sure that it is warning you about that voltage because of how LOW it is, i don't think your vcore should ever be that low (1.1v).
Try setting it to 1.375v in the BIOS ?

VCore should never be that low - as above!

Disable cool and quiet as well - nothing more than a pain in the ****! - my opinion here (although shared by many)

Went into BIOS, Disabled cool and quiet, checked it was set to 1.375v then booted up. Vcore not causing an alert anymore, cheers :D

Just spoke to someone else about this, he said:

This is how Cool'n'Quiet works - it lowers the voltage of your CPU to 1.10v when it's not in use, or in little use, to save power. When it needs to start crunching numbers again, it'll raise the voltage back to 1.35-1.50v.

A more complete explanation of what Cool'n'Quiet is:
Cool'n'Quiet is a power-saving feature that will dynamically adjust both clockspeed and voltage of your processor depending on CPU-utilization.
Depending on your motherboard and individual heatsink & fan, it can also decrease your CPU-fan's rotational speed which results in a reduction of noise.

So if you're doing stuff that requires little CPU-time/power, like surfing the net for example, your processors' clockspeed and voltage will automatically be reduced, resulting in lower power consumption and lower heat dissipation.
Once CPU-usage goes up (e.g. when playing a game or doing video-editing/encoding), your CPU will switch back to full speed and voltage.

To sum up, Cool'n'Quiet is a good thing, and you shouldn't disable it unless you have performance problems. ASUS Probe 2 isn't aware of Cool'n'Quiet, and says that your CPU voltage is too low - this is intentional to save power. When your CPU needs more power, it'll increase the voltage.
For your info as much as mine :)
