Asus Pc Probe or Real Temp...

which would be more reliable?

real temp = popular, widely used
Asus PC Probe = Software provided by manufacture :confused:

I'm getting about a 10c temp difference and considering one temperature is the same as the stock cooler i'm concerned as i've just replaced the cooler with a OCZ Vanquish and Mx-2

Use Coretemp or Realtemp :cool:

I guess in that case my idle temps have only gone down by 5c

but load with Prime95 are down 30c

General tip - get into the case once in a while, otherwise you'll find that CPU temperatures are hitting 75 because the fans blocked off by a layer of dust!
