Had the monitor since Nov 23.
Been a bit of a problem monitor since I got it really, I have to baby it so much.
I cannot even keep it plugged in when not using it, having it connected to the power results in various splodges of bright clouds being present all over the monitor. Unplugging it fully stops this happening.
I originally used HDR because it looked amazing but soon ended up with crazy levels of image retention, that took a lot of messing around with to get rid of (Multiple screen cleans and blahblah). So I stopped using HDR and it was mostly fine (while keeping unplugging it from the power when not in use).
Now the last few days I've had a blur of a faint white cloud smack bang in the middle of the screen. Measures about 10 inches across, 6 inches in height. Its super faint though, for the most part. Only noticeable on a dark background.
Screen cleaning does nothing to remove it. The very odd thing is immediately after the screen clean completes you can see the "cloud"/blur of white moving?? It's larger, and gradually shrinks back down to its normal size.
Not experienced anything like this before in the time of ownership.
The monitor is still in warranty, is it time to talk to ASUS?
