Asus PG348Q / Acer X34A or wait?

Hi guys,

I had a play with a mates g-sync monitor recently and I really enjoyed the experience.

I currently have the Dell U3415; I love the 21:9 ratio, 3440x1440 resolution and curve features.

Would you recommend getting the PG348Q or X34A right now, or is there something better in the pipeline that I don't know about for release in the not too distant future?

I'm not in a hurry to get an ultrawide g-sync, but nor do I want to wait months for a monitor that is currently only in early development.

Ah, the Acer X34P looks interesting. I'll hold off till that comes out.

I'm definitely going to get a 100Hz, G-sync ultrawide; after using a friends I feel the experience is worth the uprgade cost from my Dell 3415.

I'll hang off until Acer release the new X34P then make my decision.
