So after serving me well for almost 4 years, it's now got a truly dead pixel that's right at the edge of the monitor but will absolutely drive me bat **** crazy now I've seen it!

I was thinking about the ROG Strix XG32UCWMG but not sure how I feel about dropping to 32". 38" would be ideal but I can't seem to find anything recent that fits the bill, maybe the LG 5k2k WOLED but that's painfully expensive?

Looking at maybe January, unless there's something genuinely exceptional during the black friday sales. Let me know what you guys think?

Having had the 42UQ then this would be a strong favourite of mine as I'm loving the TrueBlack coating (currently on a 42in C4 I bought recently, bargain at £395), the coating is just sublime and my favourite having used all the major monitor OLED formats. I'd probably save some money and get the 165Hz version though!

Thanks, I thought about a c4 but not sure about using a TV. What is it like day to day? The XG32UCWMG does look fantastic but I'm not sure how I'd feel dropping 10"

Worth a go tbf, the clarity and extra density would probably make up for it (as long as you have the ability to pull it slightly closer to compensate a little).

I've just pulled the trigger on it after watching several reviews, had to use the credit card but had a 0% interest offer that came up this morning. I'll get it paid off in January. Still a bit dubious about dropping down in size but I couldn't justify £1800 on the 5k2k because of a single dead pixel on the very edge.
