ASUS Pre-computex 2010 revelations

A few days ago I got the opportunity to attend a seminar being held in London courtesy of ASUS. They had some interesting hardware on display and some that have been under tight lips for a while. Anyway here they are:

ASUS Crosshair IV Extreme + Lucid
ASUS Ares HD5970
ASUS ROG Dude
ASUS Rampage III Gene

that will mean it will be an overpriced bag of hammers once again like the Mars

The daughterboard is clever. Nicely done. Happy to see that the rampage 3 gene exists too.

You can expect a few surprises with Ares, but I can't really go into what exactly.

Motherboard + daughterboard. Wheres the male alternative?

The Ares looks like a one shot thing, like the Mars Gtx card.

Hehe you just answered your own question, Ares is the male counterpart

I'm quite excited by the Rampage III Gene. It's meant to be priced the same as the old one was on release so under £200.
