Hi Guys,

My motherboard died recently and searching for a budget replacement, here is my build:

Here my build:
ASUS Prime Z390m plus
Asus STRIX GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB
Intel® Core™ i7-9700K 3.6GHz
VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2x8gb) DDR4 3000MHz C15 CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 x 4
CORSAIR TX-M Series™ TX650M

Sorry I am not tech savvy, please give me some suggestion on what model to replace.

Thanks in advance! :)

How do you know it's a faulty motherboard ?

Your is micro ATX which is smaller than the standard ATX , what case do you have ?

Actually I am not 100% sure its my motherboard that is dead, I just reassembled the computer after moving and can't get it to post.

Thinking i may as well just upgrade my motherboard + CPU. Any suggestion?

My case is Antec P20CE

The problem with replacing 1151v2 boards is that they're almost all used and to get a good one, it is often not worth the money asked.

With selling the 9700K, or without?

I'd recommend you buy at least a Ryzen 7600 or 13600K for a new system, but only the Intel option would allow you to reuse your ram.

I am thinking of getting a ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi D4 and Intel Core i7-12700K. Do they work w my other hardwares?
