Asus pv8z77-lx 5 beeps on startup

My motherboard has decided to beep 5 times on startup.

A quick google suggests a hardware failure, but everything is working :S

No idea where to start with this, other than unplugging some stuff and taking ram out 1 stick at a time.

Anyone come across this before?

Edit: probably worth noting it is 5 short beeps not 1 long beep followed by 4 short beeps so it might not indicate a hardware failure.

Any USB devices plugged in? My setup gives an extra beep or so if I leave USB devices plugged in on boot up - presumably a USB driver issue?

i have a usb hard drive plugged in and my keyboard is usb as well.

I will try unplugging them one at a time, thanks for the suggestion.
