Asus Rampage Formula - Removing NB Block etc

Hi Guys,

Just tried taking the NB block etc off and i was unable to release the black pushpins. From what i can tell it seems as though the pushpins are not made to release? Surely there has to be a simple explanation for this

There should be a pair of small barbs on the end of each push pin. Pinch them with a pair of needle nose pliers (be careful with the board) and they should push through. You will probably need a hairdryer then to release the NB heatsink as Asus uses an epoxy type TIM. MY P5E was a nightmare to remove.

cheers mate - tried exactly that and i still couldn't get the block off lol. Installed everything now but thanks for the help.
