ASUS Rampage IV BLACK Edition New Build – No Post on Initial start-up
Hi All, Looking for any help can. I’ve assembled my system and no post on switching on. I have Bread boarded with minimum components and changed out all components, including CPU and PSU, added one at a time etc. Still no post.
After pressing START button, the PSU fan spins up, CPU fan does not spin, CPU check light come’s on, and then system appears to reset, CPU check light goes off, and PSU fan stops. Error (Q) code displays 00 (Not Used). And then this all repeats until I turn the main power switch off.
I have Reset the CMOS and performed a USB Bios update.
Help me Overclockers Forum, you’re my only hope.
Cheers

Is the CPU fan working and plugged correctly into the cpu fan header?
Are both power leads plugged in securely on both the motherboard and psu?
Check the CPU to see if any pins are bent or broken.

People have reported 00 in the ROG forums so it might be worth taking a look there.

I get a constant 00 code displayed on my asus hero vii and everything is working fine. So not sure about that.

Have you checked for bent pins?

Tried different RAM slots and PCI slots?

Try a minimalist boot up out side of the case, if still no joy then it's RMA time.
