Does the Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero Wi-Fi X570 (Stock Code MB-6DY-AS) work out of the box with the ryzen 5000 series, specifically the 5800x and the 5900x?

Your welcome.

Nice motherboard have you looked at any others ?
Not really, just that, mostly because it's one of the only ones that are currently in stock haha.

I need wifi so having it built-in helps so I'm not wasting a USB port on an adapter, I use some inline power adapters, they drop every now and again so I like wifi just as a backup, so I stay connected.

Still stuck between the 5800x and 5900x though. While I know I'm not going to get much difference with gaming performance, part of me still wants the 5900x

Do you need a £400 motherboard it does have 3 x m2 slots.

One of the best value motherboard is the MSI x570 tomahawk Wi-Fi But check out reviews before you buy any.

How will that motherbaord act with the 5000 series, I don't have an AMD CPU to update so I'd be a little screwed
It also has the bios fashback feature so no worries about updating.

Below is a video on how to update the bios on thde msi motherboard but its a fairly similar process for other boards

Memory 3600mhz is the ideal speed for ryzen

Nice one.

I'm going to be going with the VENGEANCE RGB PRO BLACK 32GB (2X16GB) 3600MHZ, only issue I have is my current cooler, the Corsair iCUE H115i PRO XT is pretty chunky so it close with the RAM, the ROG looks like the RAM slots are slightly lower on the board, I'm going to measure what I currently have and go from there

They do look slightly lower but the motherboard is over £200 more but look at the heatsink above the Cpu socket.

I think its more to do with case clearance to motherboard , the rad is 27mm and the fans are 25mm thick 52mm in total but check to clarify.
