Asus ROG Hero X - Can it handle the Gen9 Intel ?

Pretty much as the title suggests.. Can it ? It is the z370 chipset!
I have the board but was wondering if I can go ahead and order a Gen 9 Intel processor ?

you can, just dont go running i9 9900k at 5ghz with avx instructions as the VRM will overheat and throttle down .

also careful of turbo or MCE as asus boards go past intels recommend specs, hence the extra vrm heat . manually overclock

asus have a nice bios

I was thinking of the 9700k. Did take a look on the web and it seems I may have to flash the BIOS however read up by doing that, people experienced issues with their RAM not working correctly.
For overclocking I was going to follow der8auer's video - but that is for the 8700k and not the 9700k
