Asus ROG Laptops

Anyone know what is happening with the Asus ROG range and when the new one's are expected? Assuming they are...?

I've had my eye on the G751JY for a while but apparently it's "end of line" and seems very difficult to get hold of. Any news on what will be replacing it and when?

There is meant to be a refresh G751 coming with the new intel CPU and 8GB 980M with G-Sync screen but I have not been able to get any more info.

Hmm, thanks Moogleys. Guess i'll just wait then. I'm so close to getting a JY but if there's a new one on the horizon it's probably wise to wait.

I have been pestering Asus for some more info but have had nothing more than "Hopefully Soon".

If you can find a JY for a decent price it's still worth getting as I would imagine the refresh models will be closer to £2k especially after the Nvidia tax on the G-Sync...
