Just saw this on OCUK and thought it looked really good. Does anyone have any experience with one at all? It is ridiculously expensive so I was just wondering if people thought it was worth the money?

I have it, Bought it a few years ago, Currently in the cupboard as a backup mouse, Replaced it with an Asus ROG Chakram, While the Spatha is a brilliant mouse, The wireless part of it gets old quick as the battery starts to lose charge very quickly after a while and you cannot replace it easily, It also tends to lose connection a lot.

If you are using it wired it's a great mouse, Downside is it has rubber on the left and right sides that will start to breakdown after a while.

Honestly if you are after a good Asus ROG mouse I can highly recommend the Asus ROG Chakram, Light weight, Can be used wireless with a much better battery, Charged wirelessly too, Can be used wired, No rubber parts to break down and feels great in the hand.

The Chakram does sound cool. Hmm, do I want a joystick on the side or the programmable buttons of the Spatha? That seems to be the main point to choose between them for me.

120g is considered lightweight?

Compared to the Spatha's 175g... yes :D

If it was me I'd go the Chakram route, The programmable keys on the side of the Spatha are nice but a little cumbersome, You may love em but personally couldn't recommend it.

My only real concern about the joystick is would it work under Linux? I have no idea. I'd have to do some research on that first.
