ASUS ROG STRIX B550-XE Or MSI Tomahawk x570?

Hi
I am so confused between these two motherboards. I really want to place the order now but can't decide.

The Asus B550-XE actually is £40 more than the MSI Tomahawk x570.

My Current RIG
AMD Ryzen 5900x
32GB RAM 3600hz
PSU 850W Platinum
RTX 3090

Please help me decide

Another vote for the MSI Tomahawk here. I have the B450 version and its been great.

Its all about your needs sure the b550 has plenty of features but x570 offer more pcie4 lanes so wont limit the gpu speed if 2 x m2 pcie4 drives are used.

I wasn't aware that if I use more than one nvme or m.2 drives on B550 it will limit the bandwidth for the GPU. I will definitely go with x570 then.
Do you know how good MSI is good with BIOS/Firmware updates? I want to place an order today and return my unused Asus Dark Hero VIII x570. I bought the Asus dark hero, but it's overkill for my needs I guess.

Just to clarify you can use 1 pcie4 m2 and 1 x pcie3 m2 on a b550 without limiting the gpu x570 you can use 2x pcie4 m2 drives without limitation.

Msi seem solid with bios and drivers for the tomahawk.
