ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI owners thread***

I've pretty much this exact setup and it's decent but trying to get the fans and AIO pump to do what I want feels pretty much impossible to the extent that now I'm looking to ditch the AIO for a simple CPU fan instead.

Yeah, after buying an Arctic Liquid Freezer III that seemed to have an iffy pump (very noisy with rattling sounds to boot) I'm starting to wonder whether I may return to air.

Sure it doesn't cool quite as well or as quietly, but fan sounds I can deal with, and for gaming the CPU won't be stressed that terribly. The longevity is also a bonus.

Edit: as suggested by a forum member (thank you!) I followed the advice on this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/watercooling/comments/az12qp/asus_bios_pump_control) which has allowed me to control the pump speed using this mobo. Huzzah! Now I have a slight noise, probably from one of the fans, at idle but it's mild and can probably be rectified by a curve adjustment.

Also did a little tinkering with the 9800X3D, -25 all core CO and +200, achieved 23820 in Cinebench R23 which seems pretty good.
