Right guys, first problem encountered :(

Popped in the 290X and fired up and no probs to speak of (2 black screens but nothing to worry about). I install the AMD drivers and the screen flickered badly and black screened after a couple of seconds. Restarted and the same again. I couldn't see anything, so I connected my Asus 1080P monitor as well and so far so good, I change the display to 1080P on the Swift and unplug the 1080P and the Swift flickers badly and a couple of seconds later, black screen.

How do I set the screen refresh rate in the CCC please? I can't see it and even though I have set it to 60Hz for now in the desktop setting, every time I unplug the asus, flicker to a black screen.

Help please.

Working at 60Hz, so will use that for now till someone knows what I need to do. No black screens since setting 60Hz, so might have been linked to the refresh rate.

CCC then desktop properties and select 120hz. I heard that 1440p 120hz was ok on the swift. I could be wrong but that would be my first port of call.

For some reason, it doesn't like 120Hz either. I knew it wouldn't take 144Hz beforehand but I have 60Hz working fine, so no worries. I could try to go up in increments but for now, I will accept 60Hz. Thanks for the info :)

Cheers but the cable worked fine on the Titans @ 144Hz but not to worry, it is only a stop gap card till something bigger and it won't stop me having some fun :)

First impressions are the noise (or lack of it), 35C idle and 72C after running the TR bench. Not too bad at all.

But the screen had been perfect on the Titans, so not sure what you are getting at? I can live with it for now but it isn't the screen at fault in this instance.

I am sure the Titan X will run fine on your monitor.:)

Yep, I am not that bothered for now and so long as I can still play games, no bother :)

Do you want to start a Titan X thread bud? Looks like Jokester just deleted the last one because it got out of hand.
