So I tried increasing the frequency from 60 to 144 and the display dies (goes black and loses signal). At 120 it goes blank every few seconds as it does at 100Hz, at 85 it kills my fps. In Fallout 4 a steady 60 fps drops to 20 ish when I Select 85Hz.
The monitor is on the display port on a 980Ti SLI setup and I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers.
I thought the display port was OK at higher refresh rates?
What am I likely to be doing wrong?
