Hi All,

I have had my ROG swift since launch and upon turning it on all the screen fonts look dithered and any movement in a game and you can see this weird interpolation effect going on.
Even watching the Windows 7 Logo on boot up so - the "No Connection" Red Box is also weird.

I have tried reinstalling drivers/re powering everything/resetting monitor/another DP cable and the problem has remained.

Basically I think the monitor has become defective.

Who has to honor the warranty, do I get 1 year with OCUK? I don't want to have to deal direct with manufacture and get recondition monitor with dead pixels and scratches all over it.

I see it says Warranty: 3yr (OcUK & Asus)

I have had it for about 2 months or whenever launch was. I have only had it since launch and am not impressed anymore now that this has happened.

Used PC, put it to sleep, came back next day and now it is faulty.

I have reset everything, windows true type fonts etc. All fonts are heavy and bloated or missing pixels. Even the windows 7 logo interpolates when animating as well as the Red rectangle on the "NO CONNECTION" box.

Did all of the following:
Reinstalled Drivers
SLI On and Off
G-SYNC On and Off
ULMB On and off
Change Resolution
Change Refresh rate
Cycled Power
Reinstered DP cable
Tried new DP dable
Cycled Windows Scaling Settings (125% then back to 100%)
Rebooted system
Turned off system
Physically removed power from monitor and reapplied

If you also drag a window, colours have vertical lines or if you flick your eyes quickly it has the same effect.

The font is black in this picture but the dots come out in various colours depending on font size....

Smaller Fonts are missing pixels all together. (L, S, O etc)

Reading the rog page I see a lot of negative and problems was thinking of getting the last b grade one but not so sure seems far from a plug and play

The only big problem besides driving a 4k with monster cards is scaling in windows and apps.... Maybe windows 10 will do something, make Microsoft earn their money.
